It's official

It's official that peak boost screwed me over and is trying to get away with the money that they owe me.  I filed a consumer complaint with the arizona attorney general and with the virginia attorney general. I also contacted visa directly and filed a claim with them as well as a claim with my bank. All I wanted were my parts. I dont know what I am gonna do with my s2000 if I dont get my money back or my parts because it is stripped and built for boost :-(

Peak Boost Problems

I ordered my turbo kit from Peakboost on January 8th and still dont have it. I was sent me the manifold, dump tube, and intercooler piping a few months ago and nothing since. I ordered a gt35 upgrade with mine and I also opted to get the manifold, dumptube, downpipe, and turbo exhaust housing coated. Throughout the entire time I have been in contact with Peakboost getting updates on my kit but for the past week I have gotten zero response from them. I am an extremely patient person but today I went from patient and understanding to pissed off. My kit was completely paid off by February and my original shipment date was in March. I will say the quality of what I was sent is some of the best I have ever seen but that doesnt excuse taking over 8 months to complete my turbo kit I was suppose to receive in 3 months. The thing that really bothers me is I have been told on several occasions that my kit was packed and ready to ship and they were just waiting on one more thing but the problem is that "thing" they were waiting on was constantly changing.

the parts (part 1)

There were a few extra things that I wanted with my kit and Ken didnt hesitate to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, his customer service is top notch and I cant say enough about it. This is what I am getting with my order a garrett gt35r with a .63 exhaust side (if it chokes up top then i'll just go to a bigger exhaust side), braided SS oil and coolant lines, aem boost solenoid, walbro 255, 3 inch test pipe, and a vacuum block. I also got Ken to send out the manifold, dumptube, downpipe, and turbine exhaust housing to HPC for a coating. I havent ordered the injectors yet but I will either get 900s or 1000s, I am going to order what ever injectors my tuner prefers.

the start

I am proud to say that I am joining the s2000 forced induction community. I knew when I bought my s2000 that I wanted to boost it so for the past 2 years I have been putting money in a turbo fund. I have been reading and doing research about boost for the past 2 years as well.  I have an 01 ap1 and I ordered a Peakboost turbo kit.

I called Peakboost and spoke with Ken several times for a good amount of time just to ask him questions about the kit. I even told him that I was looking at other kits and he only had good things to say about them. I did more research and called Peakboost once again and ordered his kit.
